Homberg Tabbed First WCC Men's Tennis Singles Player Of The Week Of 2025

LMU wins WCC Doubles Team of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Picking up a big ranked win, Pepperdine's Maxi Homberg won Heluva Good Dip West Coast Conference Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week to open the 2025 season awards. Cesar Cruz and Sebastian Nothhaft from LMU won Heluva Good Dip WCC Men's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week.  
 
HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC SINGLES PLAYER OF THE WEEK – MAXI HOMBERG, JR. – PEPPERDINE
Maxi Homberg started the 2025 spring season with a big victory, upsetting No. 31 Noah Zamora of UC Irvine 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.

HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK – CESAR CRUZ, FR., SEBASTIAN NOTHHAFT, SR., LMU
LMU's No. 1 doubles pair Cesar Cruz and Sebastian Nothhaft have started the spring winning three of their first four matches. Their only defeat was a tough 7-5 decision against New Mexico State. The Lions cruised in their other three matches, including a 6-4 win over the top pair from No. 18 Arizona State.
