SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Guiding his squad to a team championship last weekend, Eliason Kabasenche of Portland was tabbed the West Coast Conference Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week after winning the 8K at the 50th Charles Bowles Invitational. 
 
WEST COAST CONFERENCE MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK – ELIASON KABASENCHE, GR.  – PORTLAND
Eliason Kabasenche led Portland to a strong performance at the 50th Charles Bowles Invitational after winning the individual title with a personal-best time of 23:39.75. His efforts allowed the Pilots to claim the team championship. This is Portland's second conference weekly accolade this season (Sept. 2).
