SAN BRUNO, Calif. – After setting a career best against some of the nation's top runners, Gonzaga's Jessica Frydenlund was named West Coast Conference Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE WEEK – JESSICA FRYDENLUND, JR. – GONZAGA
Jessica Frydenlund ran a career best time of 19:56.6 6k at the Lakefront Invitational last weekend. Frydenlund was the top runner for Gonzaga as the Bulldogs beat the No. 7 ranked team in the country as well as five other ranked teams. Frydenlund finished sixth overall, and she moved up to fifth all-time in program history in the 6K times. This is Gonzaga's first conference weekly award this season.
