SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Caroline Penner from Seattle U won this week's West Coast Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after she scored four goals in the Redhawks' win over Oregon State. Kate Plachy from Saint Mary's claimed Defensive Player of the Week after notching another shutout. 
 
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – CAROLINE PENNER, SR., F – SEATTLE U
Caroline Penner secured her first career four-goal performance in Seattle U's 6-1 win over Oregon State last week, adding an assist for a nine-point performance. This marks the second time this season that Penner has earned conference offensive player of the week honors.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KATE PLACHY, SO., GK – SAINT MARY'S
Kate Plachy recorded her 11th shutout of the season in the Gaels' 1-0 victory over Pacific last Saturday, finishing the match with three saves. She ranks tied for third in all of Division I in shutouts and her GAA is now down to 0.62. This marks the fifth time this season she has won conference defensive player of the week.
