SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Olivia Bennett from West Coast Conference champion San Diego won West Coast Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week honors, while San Francisco earned its second straight weekly award with Maeve Bailey claiming West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Portland's Havannah Hoeft won West Coast Conference Setter of the Week for the second time this season and Miley Thunstrom from Saint Mary’s won West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – MAEVE BAILEY, SO., MB – SAN FRANCISCO
Maeve Bailey totaled 11 kills on an efficient .714 hitting percentage during a 3-1 win over Pacific last Saturday. Bailey reached double-digit kills for the second straight contest and increased her season total to 143. Bailey guided the Dons to their third consecutive win, compiling 12.5 points in the win over the Tigers, one of four players to record double-digit points throughout the match. This is USF's second conference weekly award overall this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – OLIVIA BENNETT, SR., L/DS – SAN DIEGO
Olivia Bennett amassed 36 digs (5.14 D/S) as the Toreros beat rival Pepperdine to clinch the 2025 West Coast Conference Championship and moved its win streak to 16 with a victory at Santa Clara last Saturday. Bennett anchored the USD defense in its title-clinching match against the Waves, compiling a career-high 29 digs and 9.67 digs per set in a sweep over the Waves. Bennett added seven more digs in the four-set win over the Broncos. USD now owns 16 conference weekly awards overall this season.

Miley Thunstrom narrowly missed two double-doubles last week and was key in the Gaels' pair of victories. Against Pacific, she notched a double-double with 10 kills and 11 digs to go along with a career-high four aces. She followed that up with a team-high nine kills to go along with 10 digs in an upset sweep of Washington State. Saint Mary's now owns four conference weekly awards this season.

Havannah Hoeft led Portland to two wins last week, leading both matches in assists. In the Pilots’ first-ever win over Washington State, Hoeft posted 40 assists, two aces, eight digs, and five dump kills, guiding Portland to a .286 team hitting percentage while holding WSU to .195. Against Gonzaga, Hoeft boasted 34 assists in three sets, along with two kills and a team-high eight digs. The Pilots hit .358, while the Bulldogs finished at .188. Portland now owns four conference weekly awards overall this season.
