SAN BRUNO, Calif. - With one week left to play in the regular season, San Diego has already clinched the 2025 West Coast Conference Volleyball Championship and the NCAA Tournament qualification. The NCAA Selection Show takes place on Sunday at 3 p.m.
San Diego once again received votes in the latest AVCA national poll.
The Toreros are vying to become the first West Coast Conference volleyball team to go undefeated in conference play since San Diego last accomplished the feat in 2022, a season that ended with USD advancing to the national semifinals in the NCAA Tournament.
This Week
This week's action started with San Diego improving to 17-0 after defeating Pacific at home, 3-0. The Toreros go for the perfect conference season on Saturday at home against Gonzaga.
Pepperdine looks to finish the regular season strong with two home matches. First, the Waves host Gonzaga on Wednesday before hosting Saint Mary's on Saturday in the regular season finale. The Waves RPI is 47 as they try to move up and contend for an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
Also on Wednesday, LMU hosts Saint Mary's, and in the Bay Area, Santa Clara hosts Washington State and San Francisco hosts Seattle U.
Other matches on the final day of the regular season on Saturday include Oregon State hosting Portland, San Francisco hosting Washington State, LMU hosting Pacific and Santa Clara hosting Seattle U.
Oregon State is one game behind Pepperdine in the conference standings, as the Beavers look to make a tie for second place on the final day.

Last Week
With its sweep over Pepperdine last Thursday, San Diego cliched a share of the conference title and the automatic qualification into the NCAA Tournament. Two days later on Saturday, a victory at Santa Clara gave the Toreros the outright conference championship.
Saint Mary's picked up two wins last week, as well, starting with a 3-1 win over Pacfic at home, followed by a sweep over Washington State at home on Saturday.
Portland garnered two road wins last week, a 3-1 victory at Washington State and a sweep at Gonzaga.
Stat Leaders
Seatte U's Petra Fritz ranks No. 23 in the nation in aces per set (0.48).
WSU's Lucie Blazkova leads the conference in hitting percentage at .452.
In the league rankings, USD's Nemo Beach paces the league in kills per set (4.05), while her teammate Kylie Munday leads the West Coast Conference in assists per set (10.05).
