SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Three teams are unbeaten in Conference play in West Coast Conference women's tennis, led by first-place Washington State at 3-0 early in league play. San Diego (2-0) and Pepperdine (2-0) are also undefeated in West Coast Conference matches thus far.
The Cougars are enjoying a four-match winning streak, and all four victories have been sweeps.

Pepperdine begins the week ranked No. 23 in the nation in the latest ITA rankings.
In the ITA singles rankings, Pepperdine's Savannah Broadus is No. 12 in the nation while San Diego's Kailey Evans checks in at No. 28. In doubles, Broadus and her teammate Vivian Yang are No. 8 nationally, and the Conference boasts three doubles tandems in the top 40 in the nation - USD's No. 35 Evans and Claudia De Las Heras and WSU's No. 40 Eva Alvarez Sande and Maxine Murphy.
This Week
Conference action for the week starts tomorrow in the Bay Area with Santa Clara hosting Saint Mary's at 11 a.m. On Friday, Pepperdine heads to Washington to face the 21st-ranked Huskies in non-conference action at 1 p.m. The Waves will later face Washington's rival when the Waves return to Malibu to face first-place Washington State on Sunday at noon.
The Cougars begin their Southern California swing on Saturday, playing at LMU at 11 a.m. Another 11 a.m. Saturday match features Saint Mary's hosting San Diego. Pacific hosts Portland on Saturday at noon.
The other two Sunday matches include Pacific hosting San Diego and LMU hosting Gonzaga.
Last Week
Last week started strong for the West Coast Conference with Pacific garnering a 6-1 non-conference win over Eastern Washington in Stockton. Last Thursday, Washington State swept Saint Mary's in Pullman. It was WSU's first of two sweeps during the week as the Cougars also blanked Pacific last Sunday.
In its only match of the week, San Diego swept LMU, 4-0, last Friday. The Lions nearly upset PCH rival Pepperdine, falling 4-2 to the Waves later during the weekend.
