SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second time this season season, Pepperdine swept the West Coast Conference women's tennis player of the week awards. In addition, Sonja Zhiyenbayeva won West Coast Conference Women's Tennis Freshman of the Week for the third straight week, and she and partner Živa Falkner won West Coast Conference Women's Tennis Doubles Team of the Week. Chantal Sauvant from the Waves won West Coast Conference Singles Player of the Week. 
 
WEST COAST CONFERENCE SINGLES PLAYER OF THE WEEK – CHANTAL SAUVANT, GR. – PEPPERDINE
Chantal Sauvant clinched the win over No. 2 Texas A&M on court four in singles after helping the Waves go up 1-0 with a win in doubles. This is Sauvant's first conference weekly award this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK – SONJA ZHIYENBAYEVA, FR., ZIVA FALKNER, TR., PEPPERDINE
Živa Falkner and Sonja Zhiyenbayeva picked up a win on court one in doubles, helping the Waves take the doubles point over the second ranked Aggies. This is the duo's first conference weekly award as a doubles team and the second time a Waves' tandem has won doubles team of the week.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – SONJA ZHIYENBAYEVA, FR. – PEPPERDINE
Sonja Zhiyenbayeva improved to 4-0 on the season with a court three singles win during the victory against No. 2 Texas A&M. She also picked up a doubles victory, helping the Waves go up 1-0 in the match. Zhiyenbayeva has won every freshman of the week award this season.
