SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Scoring twice in a dominant shutout over UNLV, Caroline Penner of Seattle U won West Coast Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. After helping upset No. 16 Georgetown on Sunday, Kate Plachy of Saint Mary's won West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week. 
 
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – CAROLINE PENNER, SR., F – SEATTLE U
Caroline Penner scored a brace and added an assist in a 4-0 win over UNLV. She later scored another tally in a 3-3 draw against Cal Poly. Penner's efforts helped secure the first unbeaten non-conference run in the Redhawks' Division I history. This is Seattle U's first conference weekly award this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KATE PLACHY, SO., GK – SAINT MARY'S
Kate Plachy tallied six saves in earning her fifth consecutive shutout and the eleventh of her career at Saint Mary's as the Gaels secured an upset win over No. 16 Georgetown, 2-0, on Sunday. Plachy has now recorded five-plus saves in three different matches this season. This is the second time this season Plachy won West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week, and the Gaels now own three conference weekly awards this season.
