SAN BRUNO, Calif. – After batting over .400 for the week, Gonzaga's Ricky Sanchez won Rawlings West Coast Conference Baseball Freshman of the Week. For the second time this season, Jonah Johnson from LMU claimed Rawlings West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week. After batting .538 last week, Pepperdine's James Dell'Amico won Rawlings West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week.
RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASEBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – RICKY SANCHEZ, SR., INF – GONZAGA
Ricky Sanchez belted four home runs last week, including three home runs during Sunday's win against Indiana State, tying a program record for the most home runs in a game. He collected 11 RBI with five runs. Sanchez batted .409 for the week with an impressive 5-for-6 game on Sunday. He garnered nine RBI on Sunday, the most RBI for a Zag since 2006. This is the first conference weekly honor for Sanchez and the Bulldogs now own five total this season.

RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASEBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – JONAH JOHNSON, SR. – LMU
Jonah Johnson recorded the second-highest game score nationally last Friday, going seven shutout innings while allowing just two hits and a walk. Johnson struck out 11 to earn the win. In the third inning when two batters reached, Johnson induced a ground ball to end the threat and didn’t face any real challenges during the remainder of his outing. This is Johnson's second conference weekly award and the Lions now own three this season.

RAWLINGS WEST COAST CONFERENCE BASEBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – JAMES DELL'AMICO, FR., INF – PEPPERDINE
James Dell'Amico went 4-for-5 in game two of the doubleheader against UMass-Lowell, marking his fifth multi-hit game in 16 games played (14 starts). One of those four hits was his first career home run. This is Pepperdine's first conference weekly award this season.
