LMU already boasts 20 wins this season

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - As West Coast Conference softball continues through non-conference play, LMU boasts 20 wins already this season with a record of 20-9. Saint Mary's and Seattle U also boast winning records and are each enjoying a three-game winning streak. 

This Week
This week marks the final full week of non-conference play for all teams in the conference. 

Oregon State heads to Idaho for a doubleheader against Idaho State on Thursday before one more game on Friday. Idaho State will then host Seattle U for a weekend series. 

Saint Mary's heads to Colorado to face Colorado State on Thursday before a series at Northern Colorado over the weekend. 

San Diego heads to Sacramento State, LMU travels to Weber State and Pacific will visit Montana for the weekend. 

Last Week
Last week's action started with San Diego garnering a 6-1 home win over Princeton on Monday. Later in the week on Thursday, Saint Mary's took two in a doubleheader over Montana and then beat them again on Friday. Montana got swept by Santa Clara later in the weekend, as well. 

Oregon State beat Northern Colorado on Saturday, 9-3, despite dropping the series. 

LMU defeated Portland State, 5-1, on Friday before splitting two games against Southern Utah. 

The Seattle U-Sacramento State contests were rained out. 

Stat Leaders
Avery Francis of LMU ranks fourth in the nation in hits with 48. Francis also leads the West Coast Conference in batting average (.444). 

Oregon State's Jaeya Butler ranks sixth in the nation in home runs with 15, and she ranks tied for 13th in the nation in doubles with 11. She also leads the West Coast Conference in RBI with 39. 

Hannah Ferguson of Saint Mary's ranks tied for first in the nation in triples with six. 

Among the conference ranks, LMU's Lindsey O'Dell is first in the league in wins (9) and saves (3). Her 54 strikeouts also stand second to the 59 by Cari Ferguson on Santa Clara.
