FAIRFIELD, Calif. – No. 10-ranked Pepperdine extended its lead during the second round of the 2026 West Coast Conference Women's Golf Championship Sunday at Green Valley Country Club. The Waves were nine strokes better than second-place Oregon State on the day with a 3-over 291 for the round.
 
They built a 13-stroke advantage over the Beavers, who shot 12-over on the day. For the tournament, Pepperdine is 1-over for the tournament with a score of 577 (286-291), while OSU is 14-over after two rounds with a score of 590 (290-300). Entering the final round, Santa Clara is in third at 16-over 592 (297-295).
 
Pepperdine's Eunseo Choi, rated No. 34 in the SCOREBOARD rankings, shot 4-under 68 on the day for the low score of the round to take a three-stroke lead in the tournament over round one's top scorer Raya Nakao of Oregon State. Nakao carded a 2-over 74 on the day. Eunseo Choi is 5-under 139, while Nakao is 2-under 142 for the tournament. Pepperdine teammate Kylee Choi, rated No. 19 in the SCOREBOARD rankings, is third while sitting even heading into the final day after shooting 2-over 144 on the second day. Santa Clara's Kelsey Kim is currently fourth while shooting 1-over 145.
 
Santa Clara's Alexa Pineda and San Francsico's Erica Villegas both shot 1-under 71 for the second-best round of the day. Pineda recorded seven birdies in the second round, including five straight on the back nine. Villegas finished with three birdies on the day to improve by eight strokes from round one.
 
Mariko Yonemura and Grace Lee of Gonzaga, Pepperdine's Grace Anderson and Pineda are tied for fifth heading into Monday's final round.
