PAC's Georgaras Sweeps West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo Player of the Week Awards

Tigers went 3-0 last weekend

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second straight week, Pacific's Apostolos Georgaras earned the KAP7 West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo Newcomer of the Week, announced by the Conference on Tuesday. Along with the newcomer award, Georgaras earned the KAP7 West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo Player of the Week after helping the Tigers go 3-0 last weekend. 
 
KAP7 WEST COAST CONFERENCE MEN'S WATER POLO PLAYER & NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – APOSTOLOS GEORGARAS, FR. – PACIFIC
Apostolos Georaras netted 13 goals, nine assists and nine steals through three games during the Julian Fraser Memorial to garner 22 points while helping the Tigers go undefeated. Georgaras collected a career-high eight goals in the victory over Bucknell on Saturday. In the victory against No. 19 Harvard on Sunday, Georgaras dished out another career-high five assists to go with a pair of goals in the 13-12 victory over the Crimson. This is his third and fourth conference recognition and Pacific's sixth and seven of the season.
