SAN BRUNO, Calif. – We are just three weeks away from the West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo Championship at the US Air Force Academy. Pacific leads the Conference with a 5-1 record and clinched at minimum a share of the regular season crown over the weekend, respectively, while San José State sits at 4-1 with a chance to clinch the a share of the crown this weekend. California Baptist and LMU head into the weekend at 3-2 with Pepperdine and Santa Clara sitting at 1-3. Air Force currently stands at 0-5 in conference play.

Pacific is
sixth in the country while Pacific sits seventh. Pepperdine (12th), LMU (13th), California Baptist (15th) and Santa Clara (T-17th) round out the West Coast Conference's ranked squads entering this week's play.
This Week
Santa Clara starts the West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo week off with a match tonight at home with No. 3 Stanford in Santa Clara. You can find this game on
ESPN+. The Broncos will wrap up the weekend at the US Air Force Academy on Saturday in Air Force's lone game of the weekend.
Pacific will also look to shakeup the national rankings against the Cardinal, as the Tigers will head to Stanford on Sunday. Pacific also travels to Southern California to take on No. 2 UCLA for a Friday night contest against the Bruins.
Two other conference matchups will take place this weekend, as San José State will head to Riverside to take on California Baptist and LMU faces off against Pepperdine in Malibu. Both games will take place on Saturday at noon. With a victory against the Lancers, the Spartans will earn co-Conference Champions of the West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo regular season.
To round out the week, two Sunday noon matches will see the Spartans head to Irvine for a match against No. 16 UC Irvine and the Lions will host No. T-10
UC San Diego.

Last Week
Three West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo conference matches were in the pool last weekend. To commence the weekend events, LMU hosted California Baptist to a 17-13 conference victory. The Lions also collected the victory against Concordia University Irvine at home, winning 16-8.
Pepperdine went 2-0 with two non-conference matchups this weekend at home, beating No. T-15 UC Irvine 12-10 and CSU Fullerton 21-10.
Last Sunday, two pivotal conference matchups went down that helped tighten the race heading into the conference tournament. At the US Air Force Academy, San José State defeated Air Force 14-9.
In the second conference contest, Pacific defeated the Lancers in Stockton 14-11. The victory earned the Tigers at least a share of the regular season crown for the second-straight season.
