SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second straight week, a Redhawk won West Coast Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week as U'i Kaaihue from Seattle U won the award this week. Making her first appearance in 2026, Kate Plachy from Saint Mary's kept the Gaels' streak of not allowing a goal intact as she won Defensive Player of the Week. This is also the second straight week a Saint Mary's goalkeeper won this award.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – U'I KAAIHUE, SR., M – SEATTLE U
U'i Kaaihue tallied two goals and three assists in a pair of Seattle U victories over Nevada and Gonzaga. In a 4-0 win over Nevada, Kaaihue notched a goal and two assists before registering a goal and an assist in the 3-2 win over the Bulldogs. The Redhawks won two conference weekly awards this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KATE PLACHY, SR., GK – SAINT MARY'S
Kate Plachy made her 2026 season debut last Sunday and helped Saint Mary's knock off USC on the road, 1-0. Plachy made five saves in the shutout, coming in for an injured Souvanaphong in the first half. The Gaels extended their program record to five consecutive shutouts to start a season and are now unbeaten in their last 11 matches dating back to the 2025 season. The Gaels now own two conference weekly awards this season.
